Practical Session 2 Update – Qatar

We appreciate how much the cancellation of our exams has affected learners and we’re working hard on solutions to ensure they can gain their qualifications at the earliest opportunity. However, on the basis of official and local advice we will be postponing the entry period for Session 2 Practical exams and we will provide an update about the exams scheduled for November - December as soon as we can.

We will provide updates about future exams sessions as soon as we can and our Representative will provide further guidance in due course. We are very sorry for the impact on teachers and candidates and thank you for your loyalty and support at this difficult time.

Music Theory Exam update – session two

Working with Make Music Day

Make Music Day - 21 June - is a national and international celebration of music-making. ABRSM contributes to the Make Music Day UK steering group, led by Making Music. Over the years, we’ve organised fun events to add to the celebrations such as the Big City Sing (2017) in partnership with Music In Offices, and the Piano Medley Relay (2018).   In 2020, the Coronavirus lockdown meant that all activities for Make Music Day took place online.  For our contribution, more than 700 musicians, from infant school pupils to retirees united virtually from around the world for an online performance of the Disney song, ‘How Far I’ll Go’
